Jan and Tony Steeper live on the premises and are both actively involved in all aspects of the running of the home. They are assisted by the Senior Care and Domestic Supervisors and their staff.
All the staff work as a team, having been chosen for their friendly and professional abilities. They are encouraged to undertake training to NVQ standards and regularly attend relevant courses.
The home is served by three local doctors practices and is supported by the District Nurses who visit on a regular basis. We have a medication policy which discourages self medication for safety reasons. The home will order and distribute medication at appropriate times in accordance with doctors instructions.
Accidents will be avoided at all times. However in the occurance of such an event, there is always a qualified First Aider on duty to take any action necessary to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
